Powerful Tools for Caregivers is sustained by extensive collaborations with community-based organizations. PTC is a train-the-trainer model program with a detailed, scripted, curriculum. Our goal is to build capacity to replicate the program through affordable Class Leader and Master Trainer trainings. Increasing the number of classes available makes it possible for more caregivers to benefit from the proven outcomes of the PTC program.

Start leading PTC classes in your community. PTC is a train-the-facilitator program with a detailed, scripted curriculum that builds on The Caregiver Helpbook. If you would like to offer the 6-week class for caregivers in your community, you must become a licensed PTC Class Leader.

Licensed Class Leaders are fully prepared to team-teach Powerful Tools for Caregivers to groups of 6 – 15 family caregivers. The PTC class curriculum is currently available in English, French, Korean, and Spanish.  The class is delivered either in-person or virtually. Before You Register

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a free 6-week class about taking care of yourself while taking care of a loved one. Some class series are offered in-person, others are offered virtually via Zoom.

Zoom Support

New to virtual classes but don’t know how to use the technology? These Zoom tutorials and guides provide step-by-step instructions for creating a Zoom account, scheduling and joining meetings, and using key features like mute and screen sharing.
