Biography:
Sonja J Ellis is Associate Professor in Human Development at Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato/The University of Waikato. She is an established researcher and scholar in the field of LGBTIQ Psychology, and is co-author of the textbook Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, and Queer Psychology: An Introduction (Cambridge University Press, 2020). She is currently undertaking research in relation to the inclusion of sexual and gender diversity in sexuality education; and around youth sexual health. She is also interested in lesbian and gay ageing.
