Ongoing Studies

Aging with Pride: NHAS

Aging with Pride: National Health, Aging, and Sexuality/Gender Study (NHAS), is the first and largest longitudinal study of sexual and gender diverse midlife and older adults. The study assesses the health and well-being of 2,450 demographically diverse LGBTQ+ adults aged 50 or older, over time.

Global Pride Study

The Global PRIDE Study is underway with researchers around the world to test the feasibility of an international project addressing global aging and cross-generational health and well-being, including the impact of COVID-19.

Wellness With Pride

Wellness with Pride: COVID-19 and LGBTQ+ Communities is an ongoing nation-wide study to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the social, economic, and health inequities and resources of LGBTQ+ adults 18 years of age and older.

Washington State Equity and Diversity Study

The Washington State Equity and Diversity Study investigated the health, economic, and social needs and strengths of LGBTQ+ Washingtonians. Funded by University of Washington Population Health Initiative’s Pilot Research Grant.

Oregon LGBTQ+ Older Adult Survey

Oregon LGBTQ+ Older Adult Survey was the first statewide community needs assessment of LGBTQ+ older adults in Oregon. Commissioned by the ODHS Office of Aging and People with Disabilities.
