Biography:
Jorge Eduardo Moncayo, Colombian Psychologist, Master in Sociology and PhD in Education. Interested in topics about sexuality, sexual diversity, LGBTI studies, Mental health LGBTI.
Professor and principal researcher at the Antonio Nariño University. In charge of courses in community social psychology and research. I research topics on sexual health and sexual diversity. Currently I lead a research on sexual health, focused on the use and not use of condoms, in men who have sex with men and transgender women from a qualitative perspective.
Support for the psychosocial team of the community-based organization Santamría Fundación, which is oriented to the claim, defense and guarantee of a dignified citizenship for Trans women (Transvestites, Transgender, Transsexuals) in the city of Cali, Colombia, called Santamaría Foundation.
