Wellness with Pride is a nation-wide project to assess the social, economic, and health inequities and resources of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, non-binary, and sexual or gender diverse adults. We are collaborating with community organizations and agencies serving sexual and gender diverse adults across the U.S.
The questionnaire generally takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete. It asks about your health, social relationships, and economic and other life experiences. Your responses are completely voluntary, and you can choose to not answer any questions. You may stop participating at any time without penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.
If you have any questions, please contact us at AgePride@uw.edu.
You are eligible for a drawing awarding $190 Gift Certificates to 3 randomly selected individuals by completing the Participation Form.
Your responses will be securely stored, assigned an identification number, and kept separate from your name and any other identifying information. Your name will be stored in a password-protected storage to which only the Principal Investigator and project staff will have access. Project findings will be summarized, and your name and identifying information will never be used in any materials. Breach of confidentiality is a risk to being in a project, if it happened that your responses linked to your name were accidentally given to or were taken by someone who should not have them. There are legal risks for those under the age of 21 who endorse alcohol and/or other substances. When your participation in the project is completed, all identifying information will be destroyed after the records retention period required by state and/or federal law. The information collected as part of this research will not be used or distributed for future research studies.
