About the RESEARCH
Utilizing population and community data, our Health, and Wellness Research investigates the health and well-being across the life course of resilient at-risk communities and entire populations. We address the intersectionality of identities and life experiences and the social, psychological, behavioral, biological and environmental determinants linked with physical and mental health and well-being. Our research team conducts primary data collection and analysis as well as harmonizes with existing population-based data. We disseminate our findings to various stakeholders, including scientific and practice communities, service providers, and community partners. We use our research findings to develop interventions, which reduce health inequities at the local, state, national, and international levels.
