Biography: 

My name is Wasiu Olorunlambe. I am a PhD Student at the Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. I obtained a BSc Degree in Psychology with a Second-Class Upper Division, B.Ed. in Educational Management/Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies, from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. I have presented several academic papers both in Africa and Europe. In particular, I presented an academic paper at the 2019 Annual Conference of the European Network on Gender and Violence held in Freiburg, Germany. My abstract has also been accepted for presentation at Kroc Peace Student Conference on the theme titled: 2020 vision: where do we go from here. My abstract has also been accepted at Tomorrow People Organisation 7th Annual Peace and Conflict Resolution Conference [PCRC2020] Bangkok, Thailand, held between December 3rd and 5th 2020. I am currently one of the principal investigators on international project titled: Proposed study on prevalence of sexual violence among secondary schools students in Nigeria. Other collaborators include: Katharina Goessman, Prof Dr Anke Hoeffler, Dr Tobias Hecker. I have won several academic awards. These include: Coimbra Group Scholarship, University of Groningen, Netherlands, Short Stay (2020), West Africa Research Fellowship Award (2020), Federal Government Scholarship (2014), Best Graduating Student in Psychology (2012) and Best Student in Biology and Government (2001). I am currently working as an adjunct lecturer at Atiba University, Oyo Town, Oyo State, Nigeria. I have published academic papers in reputable journals.
